R

Clean hands for every child.

Rensa Foundation delivers ready-to-use antiseptic hand cleanser to children's homes and orphanages — starting in India, in partnership with Garonit Pharmaceutical.

Demand-driven Use-strength only WHO donation practice GMP supply chain
The problem

Hygiene is cheapest where it's needed — and still missing.

Hand hygiene is one of the most effective ways to stop infection from spreading. It is missing exactly where children live closest together: orphanages and children's homes sit on no one's supply route. Rensa gives them one — a dedicated pipeline from an antiseptic manufacturer to the sinks and hands that need it.

Our model

From manufacturer to small hands, in four steps.

1

Source

Pharmaceutical-grade chlorhexidine (CHG) from Garonit's supply network, donated to Rensa.

2

Formulate

A licensed manufacturer in India produces the finished 2% hand cleanser. No concentrate ever reaches end users.

3

Package

Filled and labeled as Rensa in India, with full batch and expiry marking.

4

Deliver

An on-ground team identifies children's homes, confirms what each site needs, and delivers.

Every site is asked before anything ships. Rensa follows WHO donation practice: expressed need, correct strength, at least 12 months of shelf life on arrival, and clear labeling. We send what a home asks for — nothing else.
The pilot

Start small. Prove it. Then scale.

Phase 1 · Now

One region in India

A first set of orphanages, identified by the local team. Bottles delivered, sites served, children reached — tracked from day one.

Phase 2

Report and refine

A short public report on what was delivered and what we learned. The playbook gets fixed before it gets bigger.

Phase 3

Scale the playbook

More of India, then Africa — the same demand-driven model, carried by partners on the ground.

About

Built inside the industry it draws from.

Rensa was founded by Rey Garg, a student who has spent two summers inside Garonit Pharmaceutical — in business development, product development, and GMP documentation. The foundation turns that access into a pipeline: Garonit's antiseptic, formulated safely, delivered to children the supply chain forgets.

Rensa is demand-driven by design. Homes tell us what they need; we match the product to the request. The name comes from the Swedish rensa — to cleanse.
